The Advising Center is a dynamic resource that contributes to the success of Benedictine students by providing guidance, resources and support on their academic pursuits. We strive to foster an interactive process between the advisor and student that is supported by technology. The goal is to promote each student’s academic, career and personal development. Our office is here to provide quality advising services as well as offer resources to new freshman, new transfer and current students

After receiving my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Psychologyfrom St. Norbert College, I completed my Master’s and Ph.D. inCriminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Maryland. I have been in higher education for over twenty yearsas a criminal justice professor. During my time as a professor, I developed a passionfor advising students and decided to switch to full time advising whenI started at Benedictine in August 2019. I enjoy helping match studentswith the right course and career plan as well as mentoring them throughcollege life.
