Alumni Affinity Groups will be meeting to kickoff the new academic year and discuss their events, as well as their charge for getting and staying involved with our Benedictine community.

President’s Circle Year-Start Kickoff: August 20

Benedictine University President Joseph J. Foy, PhD, hosts his President’s Circle members for an introduction to the start of a new academic year. Filled with updates, highlights, and plenty to look forward to, the reception is designed to engage a population with BenU’s best interests at heart. Alumni Picnic at the Circus: August 24

It is time to celebrate the return of Venardos Circus with their “Far Beyond” Show from August 14-September 1 , a Broadway-style animal-free circus, coming to Benedictine University.

BenU alumni are invited to a special Alumni Picnic on August 24 from 3-5 p.m., between shows in the Dan and Ada Rice Center, Room 160/215. Light refreshments and drinks will be available.

Oktoberfest – Lisle: September 5 & 6

Benedictine University and the Village of Lisle proudly present Lisle’s first Oktoberfest! A lively two-day community festival featuring German food, beer, and live music! All proceeds will benefit Benedictine University’s student life and activities, campus beautification, and future special events.
