A dining partnership

We know dining is such an important part of campus life, and we want all students to enjoy their dining experiences. Benedictine and Chartwells, our on-campus dining vendor, believe in creating true partnerships between you and our entire dining services team – from our chefs to our servers. 

We have many common dining areas to help create community and foster healthy living and learning.

The Krasa Center + Benny's Dining Hall

The Krasa Center is Benedictine University’s student union and plays a central role in students’ campus experience. Some of the many areas within the Krasa Center include a Benny's dining hall, the BenUnion Underground, the campus store, the international student program offices and the student life offices to name a few. Benny's serves Breakfast M-F 7:30 am - 9:30 am, Lunch M-F 11:00 am - 2:00 pm, Dinner M-F 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm . Weekends, Benny's is open for Brunch/Dinner 11:00 am - 5:00 pm.

The Pub

Flexible spaces and a great atmosphere, The Pub has it all. This on-campus eatery is a trendy, pub-like setting with four TV screens and a bar/coffee shop connected to a large outdoor patio, perfect for gathering up to 100 friends, family and co-workers. In addition, an open seating area can accommodate up to 80 people. The Pub's giant projection screen is perfect for watching the next big game or major event. No matter what the occasion – birthday, bar mitzvah, bridal shower or business meeting – the Pub is a great venue for hosting. The Pub is open Mon - Fri 4:00 pm to 9:00 p.m.

The #COFFEE Starbucks Shop

Grab a coffee or snack on the go in this quaint coffee shop on the 2nd floor in the Daniel L. Goodwin Hall of Business building on campus. Enjoy Starbucks favorites and grab & go dining options Mon - Fri from 7:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Food Allergies and Special Diets

Starting college is an exciting time, but it can also be stressful if you have food allergies or diet restrictions. 

 

Benedictine’s dining program accommodates various dietary preferences and restrictions and lets you easily advocate for yourself. 

 

We provide online tools and assistance right in our dining locations. At Benny’s, we provide clear signs with the nutrition information for each dish. You can also find more information, such as ingredients, on the What’s on the Menu page, or on our Dine on Campus app. 

 

When you’re ready to dine, simply go to What’s On The Menu log into Dine on Campus and create an account. Then find your dining location.

If you have a food allergy or dietary restrictions, we encourage you to speak to a member of our dining team so we can help you navigate Benny’s.

Cuisine for all

Through an identification system and trained culinary professionals, our dining service team helps guests find foods that are right for them. Benedictine’s dining venues can accommodate common dangerous food allergies, such as tree nut, dairy and egg allergies. We also offer vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options.
