The Benedictine University club sports programs provide students with a variety of opportunities for personal growth and development through activity and social connection. The different club offerings give students the opportunity to compete against teams within Benedictine University, as well as other college and university teams. Teams are made up of Benedictine students excited to complement their academic life with a unique BenU experience.
Cheerleading
The Benedictine University Cheerleaders are an integral part of Student Activities, the University and the Benedictine community. The cheerleaders pride themselves in promoting school spirit and support for events. Additionally, the cheerleaders are involved with many activities on campus and in their communities.
Dance Team
The BenU Dance Team will perform at halftime during home football and basketball games. The team also participates at BenU athletic events, campus events and community events. The dance team encourages the BenU community to be positive, kind, and respectful.
eSports / E-Gaming
BenU’s eSport and E-Gaming organization brings a community of gamers together under one umbrella, representing a recreational and competitive environment. We field teams to compete in collegiate gaming leagues such as League of Legends, Rocket League and Overwatch.
