Village of Lisle - Benedictine University Sports Complex

Whether your next event is a band concert, business convention, commencement exercise or soccer festival, our sports complex has the room you need.

Benedictine University is located 25 miles outside Chicago within one of the safest areas of Illinois. The University is also located just two miles from the train station. This location allows one to experience the beauty of suburban life in Lisle, and the close availability of metropolitan life in Chicago.

What Our Stadium Offers

The stadium has a seating capacity for 3,071 people and features four VIP guest suites that each can accommodate 20 people. The synthetic turf competition field is ideal for lacrosse, football and soccer. A nine-lane Olympic-sized track features a 13,000-square foot D-zone, a 111,000-square foot interior oval and an integrated timing system. Concessions offering a variety of tasty food and drink are also available.

  • Individual sound and public address system
  • Full-field irrigation system

Baseball Field

The Sports Complex affords baseball teams and fans a state-of-the-art facility that offers both comfort and functionality to the highest degree. The baseball stadium seats 1,100 overall. More than 800 of those seats are comfortable stadium-style chairs – including handicap-accessible areas on the main concourse – letting fans to sit back and support their team!

 

A large electronic scoreboard/message center helps entertain the crowd. The enclosed climate-controlled press box features permanent phone lines and data ports. There are also numerous ideal locations for both still and video cameras, and the public address system gives coverage to all areas of the field and concourse.

 

The wide-open concourse offers a spacious area for fans to enter and exit the facility after finding ample parking in lots directly adjacent to the south and east Sports Complex entrances. This comfortable facility offers fans a parklike concourse with umbrella-covered tables and two built-in concessions areas.

Softball Field

The softball field measures asymmetrical 225 feet to the outfield fence. The facility is lit with an electronic scoreboard and message center. Other amenities include bullpen areas down each line, dugouts that are covered and have protective fencing along the entire face, a tarp for inclement weather, videotape and viewing options from the deck of the main stadium.

Practice Fields

Benedictine University offers an alternative athletic space for those days and events that do not require the stadium lights. 

 

Our practice fields are natural grass and are located directly adjacent to the main stadium. 

 

This space is ideal for daytime practice or overflow for soccer or lacrosse tournaments.
