The Chapel located across from the Student Success Center in Gillett Hall, provides a quiet spot for reflection and prayer for Benedictine University students, faculty and staff, and is open for use during school hours. Peer Ministry
Peer Ministers are the student leaders in Campus Ministry. They serve as resources for their fellow students’ questions about faith, a listening ear when life is stressful, or someone to pray with or attend Mass with. Our Peer Ministers also plan our annual student retreats and facilitate weekly faith sharing groups to help students renew, or discover, their faith.
Retreats
Hosted annually, these off-campus retreats are opportunities to get away from the busyness of day-to-day life and explore more closely God’s unique message for us through reflections by student peer ministers, small group discussions, and prayer experiences.
