Benedictine University facilities management ensures these services run smoothly to create a safe and efficient campus environment.

Mail Room

Monday-Friday | 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
Location: Krasa Center Room 123

Services Offered

Shipping of packages, both domestically and internationally, using Federal Express, UPS or USPS. We currently only accept cash payments.
Processing of special mail services (certified mail, and insurance). Please give the mail room staff two days notice.
Working with students and staff to determine the most cost-efficient methods of delivery.
Assisting students and staff with shipping needs.

Residents’ Mailboxes

All student mail can be collected at KRasa 123 (Mail Room). Students need to provide an ID to collect mail/packages.

Student Addresses

Here is how students should have their mail addressed:

First/Last Name – BenU ID number (ex. B1234567)
5700 College Road
Building name and Room Number (ex. Jaeger Hall 101)
Lisle, IL 60532

The University mail room is not responsible for lost or misplaced mail. Independent delivery services do not always deliver item to the mail room. We encourage students to use services like USPS, FedEx, UPS, or Amazon when having items shipped to campus.

Amazon Lockers

Benedictine University hosts Amazon lockers for the convenience of our population. Please follow these instructions to add the Amazon lockers to your account. We highly encourage you to use these as it allows access to your package 24/7. The lockers are located outside the parking lot entrance of the Krasa Center.

Click/tap the account icon
Select “Your Account”
Select “Add a new pickup location”
Find “Umpire” (the name of our lockers) by searching the university’s address or zip code

Housekeeping

This department provides cleaning services to Benedictine’s academic, athletics, administration, events buildings, and residence halls. With over 600,000 “cleanable” square feet across the campus, the housekeeping staff remains busy 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Grounds and Landscaping

Some of the many services in which this unit provides are moving services (when applicable), mowing of grass, preparation and maintenance of plant beds, exterior facility maintenance, irrigation, roadway and sidewalk maintenance, snow removal, athletic field and sports complex maintenance, and more.

Parking

All vehicles parked on Benedictine University property must have a valid parking permit. Parking permits are free and required for parking in all lots, except the Krasa Student Center parking lot and parking garage. There are three categories of parking permits: Faculty/Staff, Resident, and Commuter. Permits must be properly displayed in your vehicle.

Campus Safety will patrol parking lots and issue citations for violations of the parking regulations. Vehicles may be immobilized or towed for repeated violations.
