Benedictine University student Jordan Werner was selected to speak on behalf of all the Student Laureates for The Lincoln Academy of Illinois.
The Student Laureate program recognizes excellence in curricular and extracurricular activities by seniors from each of the state’s four-year degree-granting colleges and universities.
In the spirit of Abraham Lincoln, Student Laureates are honored for their leadership and service on campus and beyond in the pursuit of the betterment of humanity and for overall excellence in curricular and extracurricular activities.
“Jordan excels in all evaluative areas,” said BenU Associate Professor and Chair of the Honors Committee Darya Aleinikava, PhD. “We have no doubt that she will become an outstanding citizen of tomorrow.”
