Tailgating
Welcome to the Benedictine University Tailgating Information page
Tailgating, prior to sporting events, has long been a tradition not only with professional sports but also at the collegiate level. The rules below are in place to make tailgating festivities safe for you and your fellow classmates, alumni, friends and family.
About
Tailgating is defined as the participation in a social gathering before an event in areas designated by Benedictine University (the “University”). The designated tailgating areas are reserved for fans, recognized student organizations and University departments. This policy refers specifically to tailgating events. Help us keep this a fun, safe and secure experience. If you see something dangerous or disruptive, say something to a University official. In case of an emergency, call 911. For non-emergencies call (630) 829-6122 to reach Campus Safety.
