2025 – 2026 Housing

The Housing Portal serves as the official online resident hub where you can manage communications, housing applications, agreements, roommate requests, room selection, and assignment information. We encourage all residents to familiarize themselves with the portal as it will be your primary resource for all on-campus housing needs.

Access the housing application through the Housing Portal by logging in with your BenU email ([email protected]) and password.

Returning & Transfer Students

Before completing your application or selecting your room, review these key dates and information.

March 4: Housing Portal Opens

  • Start your housing application
  • Choose your roomates
  • Complete application

Room Selection Dates:

  1. Pick your room and assign your roommate(s)
  2. Choose your meal plan
  3. Sign your Housing Agreement
  4. Communicated to roommates to complete this process within 24 hours

  • March 25: Rising Seniors/Graduate Student Classification
  • March 26: Rising Juniors Classification
  • March 27: Rising Sophomores Classification
  • March 27: Returning Freshmen Classification
  • March 31 – April 4: Open to Everyone (including commuter and transfer students

Room Selection Ends for Current Students – April 4

New Freshman & Transfer Students

Before completing your application or selecting your room, review these key dates and information:

Housing Portal Opens: March 4

  1. Start your housing application and select your roommates.
  2. Set up your roommate group
  3. Complete application

Room Selection Begins:

  • Freshmen: June 4-July 7
  • Transfers: March 31-April 4 & June 4-July 7

  3. Sign your Housing Agreement
  4. Communicated to roommate to complete this process within 24 hours

Transfer Students: You have two opportunities to select your room and roommates:

  1. Early selection with returning students (March/April)
  2. Regular selection with all new students (June/July)

Room Selection Ends for all incoming students – July 7

For applications received after July 7, Residence Life will issue and communicate assignment information on a rolling basis through August.

How to access the Housing Portal

  1. Log in using your student ID number and password.
  2. Click Resident Login, then select the applicable entry term.
  3. Work through each step of the application, following specific instructions on each page. Select Save and Continue at the bottom of each page to move to the next step.
