Early Admission for high school students, and Benedictine undergraduate students in their first or second year of study
Qualified high school seniors can apply for acceptance into medical, dental, or pharmacy school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM) at the same time they are applying for admission to Benedictine University! Benedictine students in their first two years are also eligible to apply. Students accepted into this program are guaranteed a seat at LECOM if they maintain specific academic standards and vocational interests.

Qualifications:
- Have completed or be in the process of completing a total of at least 60 semester credit hours from the program’s established prerequisite course list (https://www.manchester.edu/academics/colleges/college-of-pharmacy-natural-health-sciences/academic-programs/pharmacy/admissions/admission-requirements/prerequisite-coursework)
- Have a 3.3 minimum cumulative GPA.
- No grade lower than a C in any established prerequisite course.
- Complete the Manchester University Pharmacy program application through PharmCAS, as indicated on the Manchester admissions application Web page.
- Complete the program’s admissions interview process. Candidates are strongly encouraged to apply through PharmCAS by the Early Decision deadline (early September each year). Applicants who apply after that deadline may be considered for the reserved seat(s), but Manchester will admit on a rolling basis and those applying early will be given priority consideration.
Neither a Bachelor’s degree nor the PCAT exam are required for admission under this program.
Marian University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine (MU-COM) has a program that will give Benedictine University pre-medical students opportunities for early decision admission into, or a guaranteed interview with, MU-COM.
