Emeritus – Education

Mr. Chester Kagel headed the education department and supervised the college’s teacher training program.

Mr. Chester Kagel, worked closely with Father Roman in gaining monetary grants for the college, counseled many students and teachers in his capacity as vice-president for educational affairs. He also directed student teachers and accompanied them on their practice teaching assignments at area high schools. It was through his office that students received their State of Illinois teaching certificates.
