On February 12, 2024, Ovid Wong Ph.D. led the EDUC 3318 (Methods of Teaching Elementary Science) students to participate in the in-person hands-on training of population connection for people and the planet in collaboration with Population Education (Washington D.C.), the only national program for K-5 educators. The workshop educates the next generation teachers to think and act critically about population trends and how they impact the well-being of the natural world.
