Elevate Your Artistic Expression
Through this comprehensive drawing course, students will gain a thorough understanding of the classical representational tradition and its influence on contemporary modernist art. Experienced and accomplished artists who actively exhibit their work will guide students through various drawing techniques through hands-on demonstrations. Upon completion of the course, students will have the opportunity to showcase their artistic achievements in the prestigious Fr. Michael E. Komechak, O.S.B. Art Gallery.
Upon completing the sophomore year, students will select a medium discipline to focus on. Two courses (totaling 6 credit hours) must be taken from the chosen medium discipline. The available medium disciplines include:
- Painting
- Printmaking
- Photography
- Ceramics
