Nutrition Certificate
Nutrition Certificate
The past five decades have witnessed a growing public awareness of how diet and nutrition are related to the development and prevention of diseases, which has led to a rising demand for evidence-based information about these connections. This certificate equips students with the ability to identify, evaluate, and translate nutrition-related scientific evidence for the public dissemination, allowing them to be more knowledgeable and marketable in their health profession.
Earning a nutrition certificate can be a transformative step for individuals looking to deepen their understanding of dietary principles and their impact on health. This certification provides a comprehensive education on essential topics such as macronutrients, micronutrients, and dietary patterns. Students gain insights into how nutrition influences overall wellness, helping them to develop personalized dietary recommendations. Whether pursuing a career as a nutritionist, dietitian, or health coach, a nutrition certificate equips individuals with the knowledge needed to support clients in making informed food choices.
Certificates can be completed as a standalone credential or while pursuing any of our graduate degree programs. All certificates can be completed within one academic year, taken one at a time each 8 week session and are all asynchronous.
