Elevating the First-Year Journey: Strategiese for Student Success
Faculty and Staff are cordially invited to attend a presentation by Jennifer Keup, PhD, focused on strengthening the first-year student experience.
Drawing on research and practice, Dr. Keup will share insights relevant to faculty and staff who support student learning and success, including approaches to:
- Enhance academic engagement
- Support students from diverse economic backgrounds
- Foster persistence, confidence, and self-belief
- Build meaningful cohort-based experiences
- Strengthen students’ social and academic connections to the university
This session provides an opportunity to reflect on shared practices, engage in thoughtful dialogue, and consider strategies that promote student success and belonging.
