Club Sports

The Benedictine University Cheerleaders are an integral part of Student Activities, the University and the Benedictine community. The cheerleaders pride themselves in promoting school spirit and support for Benedictine, as well as encouraging positive crowd participation at Eagles and Redhawks athletic events. Additionally, the cheerleaders are involved with many activities on campus and in their communities.

This group is available in both Lisle and Mesa!

The Ben U Dance Team will perform at halftime during home football and basketball games. The team also participates on the sidelines during the games. The dance team promotes school spirit with performances at Ben U athletic events, campus events and community events. The dance team encourages the BenU community to be positive, kind, and respectful.

The Athletic Band performs at all home men’s and women’s basketball games and also before the BenU football home games. The primary function of the athletic band is to promote a positive and engaging game day experience for fans. Scholarship opportunities are available for athletic band members.
