We invite you to participate in the faith life of the University by attending Mass in the St. Benedict Chapel located on the fourth floor of Kindlon Hall. You can also sign up to be a liturgical minister, join the St. Benedict Chapel Choir, or become an usher or altar server.
The St. Benedict Chapel Choir
The St. Benedict Chapel Choir is made up of faith-filled musicians. Some of our members went through a selection process to receive a scholarship for their participation, while others simply participate to share their love of music with the Benedictine community. If you are interested in joining the St. Benedict Chapel Choir, please contact Carol Allen, Campus Minister, Coordinator of Retreats, Faith Formation and Liturgy, at (630) 829-6029 or [email protected]
Liturgical Minister Sign-Up
Training for students who want to become liturgical ministers is offered on an as-needed basis and takes place in the St. Benedict Chapel. The Roman Catholic Diocese of Joliet requires training annually for those who desire to be lectors or “Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion,” altar servers, choir participants, and usher and greeters.
For more information or to become a liturgical minister, contact Carol Allen at [email protected].
