The Gospels compel Christians to be of service and to engage in the larger world in a positive way. For centuries, Christians have committed their energies and their lives to bringing about a better world through living out the Corporal Works of Mercy. At Benedictine, we provide opportunities for our students to serve the poor and less fortunate, as well as to engage in advocacy to build up a better community.

Mesa Campus Ministry periodically offers opportunities for service to the broader Mesa community, the homeless, local religious organizations, and others. An alternative Spring Break mission trip to Mexico is also offered. Students who attend help to build homes in Puerto Penasco, Sonora, Mexico.

In addition to service and mission trips, under the banner of “BInvolved”, the Campus Ministry office also sponsors social justice events including teach-ins, speaker series, and immersion opportunities.
