I hope this message finds you well and filled with positivity. We have some truly heartwarming news to share – for the very first time, Benedictine University is working with Feed My Starving Children and KidsMatter to have a Feed the Need event at our school on March 2nd and 3rd.
This initiative is incredibly special to us, as it provides a unique opportunity for our school community to come together and make a meaningful impact. Our collective efforts can create a positive ripple effect that goes beyond the boundaries of our campus. In our firm belief, any number greater than 0 of children going to bed hungry is too much. The stark reality is that, despite our best efforts, there are still children in our community who are not receiving the nourishment they need for healthy growth and development.
We understand that addressing this issue requires a united front, and that’s where we need your help. Your support, through volunteering to pack meals can make a significant impact in ensuring that no child is left unfed.
Therefore, we would be honored to have you join us in this heartwarming endeavor. Your participation as a volunteer can contribute to something truly extraordinary. To sign up and be part of this inspiring event, please follow this link: http://www.fmsc.org/join-group?joincode=KDDLYM, and the join code is KDDLYM. Once you click the link, kindly set up an account and proceed to reserve spots for yourself and any accompanying individuals. If the date and time permits for you, we seek to pack the place on Saturday at Noon with Benedictine Faculty, Staff, Students and Alumni.
Feel free to extend this invitation to your friends as well. Together as Benedictine, we can make a difference and spread the warmth of compassion and community.
We believe that acts of kindness, no matter how small, have the power to create a positive and lasting impact. Thank you for considering being a part of this historic moment with us.
Looking forward to making a difference together and Feeding the Need.
