PepsiCo Executive Maurice Bell to Speak at Benedictine University

Maurice Bell, Benedictine University alumnus and 24-year veteran of PepsiCo, will be the next featured guest in Benedictine’s “Journeys in Leadership” speaker series on Thursday, February 23 at 7 p.m.

Bell will appear in person at Benedictine’s Goodwin Hall of Business, 5700 College Road, Lisle, IL, Room 411. The event is open to the public and free. It can also be seen via Zoom by clicking HERE to register.

Bell graduated from Benedictine in 1987 with a bachelor’s degree in political science. Since then, he has attained more than 24 years of leadership experience in PepsiCo’s North American businesses. In his current role, he provides customer leadership for Gatorade & Propel Grocery Warehouse, covering the western half of the U.S.

Bell joined PepsiCo in 1998 as Field Finance Manager, Foodservice for Quaker Oats. He progressed through many roles of increasing responsibilities across Sales, Sales Strategy and Operations for Frito-Lay and PepsiCo Beverages, which lead to his current role. His cross-functional experiences uniquely position him to deliver customer leadership, driving growth as well as developing high performing teams.

After graduating from Benedictine, Bell earned a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Established in 2020 by Benedictine University’s College of Liberal Arts “Forward” task force, Journeys in Leadership is a nonpartisan, non-political speaker series generously supported by the Becker Endowment fund. Stressing the importance of a liberal arts education, the common thread of the JIL speakers is their commitment to community discourse and living active, healthy lives.
