Local Merrill Lynch Wealth Management Financial Advisor and Crystal Lake resident and BenU alumna Ismat Khimani (’92) has been named to the prestigious 2023 Forbes “Top Women Wealth Advisors Best-in-State” list, which recognizes the top women wealth advisors across the nation.

Khimani, who graduated from Benedictine in two years with honors, focuses her practice on offering a comprehensive approach to managing wealth that begins with getting to know a client, their family, their unique situation, and what matters most to them. Then she helps create a flexible, customized wealth management approach. She is driven by her passion for delivering excellent service and helping clients pursue their goals.

Following the deep-seated Merrill tradition of participating in the communities that they serve, Khimani volunteers at Eco Logic Partners, Home of the Sparrow and Focus Humanitarian Assistance among others and has served on numerous boards including United Way and AKF Humanitarian Foundation. She also participates in marathons across the world, enjoys scuba diving with her kids, and traveling the world with her family.
