This spring’s lecture series will be hosted in-person at the Lisle, IL campus. Due to the nature of our hosts dynamic and interactive topic. their will only be a small portion of our day able to be obtained virtually via zoom for those located outside the Chicagoland area.

Following our welcome and opening remarks (delivered in-person as well as streamed virtually), the remaining part of the lecture series is best suited in-person as it is workshop based. In the workshop setting, participants will have the opportunity to discuss how to best support the initial activities of change champions as they advocate for change in their day-to-day work, how to help their supervisors support their change champion, and how the change champion’s role evolves as the culture shifts in the intended direction.

Examples and cases will demonstrate the different steps in the unfolding change champion journey to produce a more inclusive organization. This lecture series is in alignment with the Miller Biggs and Katz book, “Change Champions: A Dialogic approach to Creating an Inclusive Culture” which is a key resource for those wanting to improve inclusion, leverage diversity, equity, and access to achieve higher organizational performance. Books will be available for purchase and signing.
