All programs take a critical criminology approach to criminality and an understanding of the Criminal Justice System.

The program will expand a student’s knowledge and understanding of the often-forgotten issues of crime. The harm and damage white collar crime has on society at the environmental, financial and personal level cannot be overlooked. Through a critical criminological approach white-collar, environmental, cyber, and corporate crimes are examined focusing on violations of criminal law, civil law, and morality. Students ascertain these issues to create research-based recommendations toward public policy.
