Alondra Carrillo earned her second Bachelor’s degree with a BA in Biology, Radiation Therapy Track major. Our 3+1 arrangement with Northwestern Medicine allows students to complete 90 hours of prerequisite coursework and then apply for acceptance to the very competitive programs that Northwestern offers in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nuclear Medicine Technology and Radiation Therapy. Upon completion of the full-time coursework at Northwestern, Benedictine confers the bachelor’s degree.
Heather Mallet, Program Director, NM School of Radiation Therapy, sent us the following update:Alondra graduated last week and passed her boards. She scored in the 100th percentile! She was also the recipient of the JRCERT award of excellence. I am so proud of her and grateful for our exceptional Benedictine students and wonderful partnership. I am thrilled that she is staying in the NM family and will be starting her job at Northwestern Lake Forest hospital next week.
