Student Life enhances the development of students as lifelong learners and leaders by supporting them throughout the progression of their academic careers.
Student Engagement and
Leadership Development
Student Engagement helps students to reach their full potential by presenting leadership opportunities and ways to get involved. Being involved allows a students to meet new people and learn more about others in the Benedictine Community, while being apart of something they enjoy doing.
The Leadership Program strives to develop students with an emphasis on the art of leadership. The art of leadership is practiced and learned through a combination of community service, coursework and experiential activities and roles.
The Student Success Center is working on a new model of student leadership that puts leadership in a context unique to Benedictine's mission. This model will create a basis of student leadership training and experience across the university. The leadership program provides a number of events and special activities designed to help students better understand the process of leadership and how their service can make a positive impact on the community.
