Fall 2014 Koinonia Retreat

When: Friday, October 24 - Sunday, October 26.

Where: Carmelite Spiritual Center, 8433 Bailey Road, Darien IL

Who: Benedictine University (Lisle and Springfield), College of DuPage and North Central College students

The Koinonia retreat weekend is an experience in Christian community based on the Paschal Mystery of Jesus Christ – his life, death and resurrection – designed principally for college students (undergraduate or graduate). The retreat is offered from a Catholic perspective; however, non-Catholics are welcomed as well.

Fellowship – The Greek word "Koinonia" means "fellowship." This Catholic retreat offers a chance to get to know others who take their faith seriously, but not so seriously that they forget that fellowship requires others to feel comfortable.

Fun – The retreat is filled with surprises, laughter and most of all – fun.

Food – There is no need to bring food. We will supply all the snacks, regular meals and treats.

Faith – Discussion is all student-led and given in a relaxed and caring atmosphere.

Future – Strengthen your relationship with God and fill your future with new and supportive friends.

Benedictine Koinonia 23: "My Heart Is in Your Hands," St. Francis de Sales.

Applications and full payment are due by 12:00 p.m. on Friday, October 17, 2014. There are no cancellation refunds after the payment due date.

Price: $75
