Welcome! Our doors are always open!
Fr. Alex Juguilon, OSC
Fr. Alex is a member of the Crosier Fathers and Brothers, and was ordained a priest in 2018. He was born in Manila, Philippines, and raised in North Royalton, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland where he was a member of St. Albert the Great Church in North Royalton. While a parishioner there, he founded a monthly men’s prayer group, was an adult male server at daily Mass and volunteered with RCIA. He has also been active in the Totus Tuus International Eucharistic, Consecration, Scapular and Rosary Novena Crusade, made in response to Pope John Paul II’s appeals. Prior to joining the Crosiers, Fr. Alex worked as a doctor of sleep medicine in the Northeast Ohio. In addition to his duties as Chaplain, Fr. Alex teaches on the Theology faculty, serves as Vocations Director for the Crosiers, and assists locally at St. Gregory’s Parish in Phoenix.

Rob is a native Arizonan, born and raised in nearby Chandler. He has joyfully served the Mesa Campus as both Director of Campus Ministry and Theology faculty since 2016. A lifelong Roman Catholic, Rob has spent his entire adult life serving the Church in youth ministry, campus ministry, adult faith formation, and education at parishes and schools in the Dioceses of Phoenix and Salt Lake City. Rob holds Masters degrees in Pastoral Theology, Secondary Education, and Educational Leadership. While Rob is truly humbled to be able to serve Christ in the numerous ways he has been called, none mean more to him than his vocation as a husband to Carrie and father to Taylor, Molly, and Austin.

The Crosiers, founded in 1210, are one of the oldest religious orders of the Roman Catholic Church. Their membership includes priests and brothers who live together according to the Rule of St. Augustine. The United States Conventual Priory of Holy Cross is located in Phoenix, Arizona and, in addition to Fr. Alex, several Crosier priests stop by to celebrate Mass, hear confessions and visit with our students. Their Conventual Prior is Fr. Tom Enneking, OSC, and we often have visits from Fr. Stephan, Fr. Jude, and Fr. Hubert, among others. Though not connected to the Benedictine Order, the Crosiers share many of the same hallmarks and values, and we are blessed to be partners with them in campus ministry.
