The 10th Annual Sr. Beata Dinner Auction has a silent auction, great dinner and wine, music by Prairie Rose and a live auction. The purpose of our event is to raise money for the University's institutional scholarship in memory of Sr. Beata Knoedler,
the end of the live auction, people
can donate to help the needs of our athletes.
In the past, our guests' donations have helped the University purchase science
equipment, communications lab equipment and a ceramic kiln for the art

Demetrius Bonner, one of our first Cooperative education students, is excited about his work with the Community Foundation for the Land of Lincoln. In his work for the Foundation, "Demi" is focusing on marketing, public relations, grant writing and program management. Jessica Edwards, a Cooperative Education senior at Benedictine University in Springfield majoring in Psychology, has been hired by The Hope Institute for Children and Families as a Development Associate. In this capacity, Jessica will focus on donor relationships, data management and event planning. The Hope Institute for Children and Families is a nationally recognized, leading provider of evidence based, innovative care for children and young adults with multiple disabilities. Ryan Leonard has been hired by Southern Illinois University's School of Medicine as an Administrative Associate in Healthcare Finance. In this Cooperative Education work placement, Ryan will work with the School's leadership team in the development of strategic financial plans for medical service product lines. Southern Illinois University School of Medicine assists the people of central and southern Illinois to meet their health care needs through education,
patient care and research.
