Scholarships
To be considered for our merit-based scholarships, simply fill out the admission application and submit. All students are reviewed for scholarship eligibility once the admission application is received. To receive need-based aid, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) must be completed. Federal and state grants vary based on demonstration of need (FAFSA).
2013-2014 Scholarships: Freshman

Springfield Award
Amount $3,400
Eligibility 2.5-2.99 GPA, Top 50% of Class Rank, or 21-23 ACT
Renewability 2.0 GPA, full-time continuous enrollment
Alumni Recognition Award
Amount $500 per year
Eligibility Son or daughter of an alumnus
Renewability Full-time continuous enrollment
Catholic High School Award
Amount Up to $1,500
Eligibility Graduate of a Catholic high school
Renewability Full-time continuous enrollment
Opportunity Award
Amount Up to $1,500
Eligibility Graduate from a high school with more than one-third of the student population considered to be "low-income" families
(determined by the "Teacher Cancellation Low Income Directory" published by the U.S. Department of Education)

Sangamon County Award
Amount Up to $500
Eligibility Student is a Sangamon county resident and applies by Mar. 1 for fall and Oct. 1 for spring.
