Enrollment Services (Ben Central) will be available to assist students with
registration from 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
If you are experiencing difficulty logging into the system, contact the Information
Technology helpdesk between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. Monday through Friday
at (630) 829-6684.
If you are receiving error messages when attempting to register, please refer
to the error glossary found on the Advising Matters Web site at www.ben.edu/advising/reg_errors.asp.
Registration Procedures

Students may find their individual registration time using
the MyBenU
system. View the Self-Registration
Fact Sheet.

You will be assigned a date to register based on a seniority
system of credit hours earned. Registration opens at 7:00 a.m. on each of
the registration dates above. Students may
not access registration in MyBenU prior to their
assigned time.
- You may register beginning at 7:00 a.m. on your assigned
day or any time after.
- You should verify your enrollment appointment on MyBenU.

There will be no excused absences from class. Please plan
accordingly.

Students will be able to use MyBenU to self-register for
classes from computer workstations on and off-campus. Enrollment Services (Ben Central)
staff in Krasa 169 will be available 8:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday - Friday
to help students navigate the system and address any problems they may encounter.
Students are strongly encouraged to refer to the Error Glossary and the
Self-Registration Fact
Sheet prior to seeking assistance.

All students are required to meet with their academic advisor
prior to registration. After advising, he/she will electronically authorize
you to be eligible to register for the Spring 09 term.

All holds (financial, health, library) must be cleared prior to
registration.
Distribution of Course Schedules
Course schedules are now available
for the Spring 2010 semester. You may also access course information
on Ben U Live and/or MyBenU.
Remember
In order to register, outstanding balances must be paid and
health immunization records complete.
Textbook Reservations
Make your textbook reservations for the upcoming term by visiting
the Benedictine
Bookstore or www.whywaitforbooks.com.
If you are working on a shared computer, please be sure to clear the browser's
cache and close the browser window after you are finished reserving your textbooks.
To clear Internet Explorer's cache, click on the 'Tools' Menu
then 'Internet Options.' On the 'General' tab, second section, 'Temporary
Internet Files' click on the button 'Delete Cookies' then click on the button
'Delete Files.' In the pop up window, check the box to 'Delete all offline
content' and click OK. Close your browser.
