The 116th Commencement Convocation will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2009 outside at the Village of Lisle-Benedictine University Sports Complex.

Line up for the graduates begins at 9:00 a.m. in the Dan and Ada Rice Center. The Commencement Convocation begins at 9:50 a.m.

Commemorative Silver Medallions

Commemorative Silver Medallions

Each medallion is 1.5 inches in diameter and contains one ounce of .999 pure silver. The obverse side presents a portrait of St. Benedict and the reverse shows the shield of the College/University with the appropriate dates. These treasured medallions commemorate the historyof Benedictine education

If you have not already done so, reserve your medallion today. Only 1,000 of each medallion will be made (a minimum order of 300 medals per school name must be placed before medals are made). Each medal is $100 plus shipping. Proceeds will be used for student scholarships. Consult your tax expert on what portion of this contribution is tax deductible.

Commencement Parking Information
Parking is available on the Benedictine University campus and across the street at Benet Academy, 2200 Maple Ave.

In addition, remote parking will be available at Lisle Senior High School, 1800 Short St., and the Lisle Park District, 1825 Short St.
Shuttle buses will transport guests between these lots and the Sports Complex between 9:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Directions from Benedictine University to Lisle Community Park and Lisle Senior High School (see directions below or print a copy)

  1. Head north on College Road toward Maple Ave.
  2. College Road becomes Yackley Ave.
  3. Turn right at Ohio St.
  4. Turn right at Ohio Ct.
  5. Continue on Short St.
• Lisle Community Park will be on right
• Lisle Senior High School will be on left
