Commission affirms quality of Benedictine programs

Accrediting agency agrees with evaluators’ assessment of Benedictine University at Mesa’s academic programs

Mesa, Arizona ~ Benedictine University at Mesa provides quality academic programs to the Southwest Arizona area, according to a statement released by the agency that accredits the University.

The Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools affirmed the findings of a campus evaluation team that reviewed the academic programs offered at Benedictine’s Mesa branch campus.

The commission’s Institutional Actions Council agreed with the evaluation that the school’s campus in downtown Mesa provides students a quality education.

“We are pleased the commission’s findings agreed with what those familiar with Benedictine already know – that we provide valuable academic programs,” said Charlie Gregory, executive vice president at Benedictine. “Our programs are also infused with Catholic and Benedictine values to create better learners, better leaders and better world citizens.”
