Benedictine to launch athletics in Mesa

Candice Cuppini Volleyball WebshotMesa, Arizona ~ Student-athletes interested in attending Benedictine University at Mesa are invited to an athletics launch event at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, July 18 at the Services Center located at 51 E. Main St. in downtown Mesa.

Benedictine University at Mesa believes in developing a student’s mind, body and spirit. Event attendees will learn about the history and tradition of Benedictine sports. The Mesa branch campus will offer recreational activities such as intramurals, club sports, fitness activities, and eventually develop an intercollegiate athletics program.

Benedictine’s main campus in Lisle, Ill., competes in NCAA Division III sports within the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference.
