Lisle, Illinois~ Wondering how you’re going to keep your children occupied this summer? Looking for a program where they can not only have a good time, but also brush up on reading and math skills?
Look no further than Benedictine University’s “Summer Fun Day Camp.” Registration is still open for boys and girls ages 5-13. The camp begins Monday, June 11.
Campers can choose from a variety of activities each day such as soccer, relay races, sand volleyball, fishing, water activities, arts and crafts and more. And two times per week, students can attend an hour-long session of grade-appropriate math and reading to refresh their skills.
The camp is operated by University staff and Benedictine students who serve as counselors, allowing for a 10:1 camper-to-staff ratio. Lunch is provided each day.
The camp runs from 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. The cost is $185 per week ($148 for July 2-6) and there is a $10 per session discount for a second child. Sessions are June 11-15, June 18-22, June 25-29, July 2-6 (no camp July 4), July 9-13, July 16-20, July 23-27, July 30-August 3 and August 6-10.
Parents who do not want to enroll their children in a full week of camp also have the option of signing up for three or four days per week.
