The Benedictine men's basketball team evened its Northern Athletics Conference (NAC) record thanks to its 75-60 victory over Lakeland College. The win improved the Eagles to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in the NAC, while the Muskies fell to 3-1 and 1-1 in league. Benedictine led at the half, 37-25, as Lakeland never came closer than six points in the second stanza. The Eagles were led by senior Jared Bailey who led either team in both scoring and rebounding. Bailey poured in 27 points, thanks largely to his being able to connect on 4-of-6 from three-point range. A.J. Brown delivered 14 points by hitting 6-of-8 from the field and 2-for-2 from the free throw stripe. The sophomore also grabbed five rebounds. Cameron Snelling and Travis Wilson each added 10 points. Snelling also chipped in six rebounds and a game-leading three steals. Freshman Nate Green had a game-leading four assists, as well as six points and five rebounds, off the Eagles' bench.
