Curtis again named NAC "Student-Athlete of the Week"

Benedictine University women's basketball standout senior Tamika Curtis (Bellwood, Ill./Nazareth Academy) has been named as the Northern Athletics Conference "Student-Athlete of the Week" for the period of January 20-27. It is the second such NAC honor of the season for Curtis. Curtis average a double-double of 20.0 points and 10.7 rebounds pergame in three NAC contests last week. She shot over 62 percent fromthe floor going 23-of-37 in the three contests, where the Eagles went 2-1. Curtis also averaged 2.0 blocks per contest and registered her tenth double-double of the season with her 20 point-18 rebound effort in a loss at Lakeland College (snapping the Eagles' 4-game winning streak).
