Volleyball sweeps Wisconsin Lutheran to improve to 23-4

The Eagles volleyball team made short work of Wisconsin Lutheran College on Wednesday evening, dispatching the visiting Warriors, 3-0, by scores of 30-18, 30-17, 30-19. The win improved Benedictine's record to 23-4 overall and 9-3 in the Northern Athletics Conference. The Eagles attack was led by the tandem of senior Danielle Mikos and freshman Kayla Leyden, who had 13 and 12 kills, respectively. Mikos also had three blocks, while Leyden had a game-high 18 digs. Fellow senior Rachel Sypole celebrated Senior Night with nine kills. The team's third senior, setter Angela Vitto, had 39 set assists.
