COD/BenU 3+1 Bachelor of Arts in Management Program

Admissions Requirements
  • Completion of the Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree from COD in Accounting, Management or Marketing
  • All required prerequisite courses must be completed with a grade of C or better before enrolling in Benedictine year 4 courses – see below
  • Cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or better on a 4.0 scale
  • A minimum age of 21 years at time of commencing year 4 Benedictine courses
Prerequisite coursework

Students must have A.A.S degree in Accounting, Management or Marketing from COD conferred and have the following prerequisite courses completed, with a grade of C or better, before enrolling in Benedictine year 4 courses:

  • Math 1428: College Algebra
  • Math 1635: Statistics
  • ACCT 1140: Financial Accounting
  • ACCT 1150: Managerial Accounting
  • ECON 2201: Macroeconomics
  • ECON 2202: Microeconomics

Please note:  All COD year 1 – 3 and Benedictine year 4 coursework must be satisfactorily completed before the B.A. in Management can be conferred by Benedictine University.

Application procedures
  • Submit completed 3+1 BAM application
  • Submit official transcripts from COD and any other college or university attended.  Electronic transcripts can be sent to e-transcripts@ben.edu

It is highly recommended that students submit the Benedictine 3+1 BAM application and all required documents to Benedictine University two terms prior to completing A.A.S degree.

In order to receive updates about the 3+1 Partnership program including information on fairs, expected changes in requirements and information sessions, complete COD's 3+1 transfer application. This form should be submitted to COD's Admissions and Outreach office located in the Student Services Center (SSC), Room 2207. This application is not an application for admission to Benedictine's B.S.N. completion program.
