Founded in 2011, the Pillars of St. Benedict recognizes the University’s most generous contributors.

Gifts from members of the Pillars of St. Benedict stand as an example for others by encouraging our students, inspiring our faculty, expanding our programs, enhancing our campus life and advancing in countless other ways the goals of the University and those it serves.

Membership in the Pillars of St. Benedict honors your total lifetime of giving to Benedictine University. All types of gifts – cash contributions, securities and property – will be acknowledged toward your membership in the society. Whether you make one gift or many, your philanthropic leadership will be honored through the Pillars of St. Benedict.

Below are the Pillars of St. Benedict Giving Society contribution levels:

• St. Benedict Society: Individuals who have given $100,000 or more in their lifetime.
• Abbot Society: Corporations/Foundations that have given $500,000 or more during their history.
