Emergency Preparedness

Benedictine University is dedicated to protecting the well-being of its students, staff and faculty as well as its research and intellectual property, equipment and facilities. The University strives to reduce the impacts of emergencies and increase the effectiveness of the campus community in responding to and recovering from their inevitable occurrences. Doing so will provide continuity of campus operations in furtherance of the University's mission.

In the event of a campus-wide, natural or man-made disaster, information will be communicated to our students, faculty, staff, parents and friends in a number of ways to get the most current and accurate information out quickly.

The University's Emergency Response and Recovery Team (ERRT) encourages everyone to read the Emergency Response Plans and be familiar with your roles and responsibilities in preparing for an emergency.
Preparation starts with you!
