Welcome alumni and friends of the Benedictine community!
The Offices of Alumni Relations and University Development are proud to launch an E-newsletter that will help members of the Benedictine community stay connected with their alma mater and fellow friends and alumni. University Development, along with Alumni Relations and many other areas of the University, strives to keep our alumni involved and connected with Benedictine through the planning of alumni events and creation of alumni groups and programs. This E-Newsletter will give you inside information on what is going on at your favorite campus and will provide links to several areas of interest here at Benedictine.
You will stay updated on current events and campus news while reducing the number of e-mails you’ll receive from the University. The Benedictine E-Newsletter will serve as your connection to campus and provide information and opportunities for you to get involved!
We hope you enjoy our monthly E-Newsletter, and welcome any feedback you have to offer. Feel free to e-mail comments or questions to
jstillo@ben.edu.
With Eagle Pride,
Jessica Stillo

Updates from the Office of Alumni Relations
Your Alumni Relations team has been busy planning ways in which we can engage alumni to return to campus as well as network with each other. We encourage your attendance at the events listed below to reconnect with faculty as well as old friends. We are also in the final stages of signing a contract with Harris Direct to offer you an alumni online directory. This directory will enable you to network with alumni from your class, major concentration and occupation. We hope to go "live" in early 2009. Look for updated information via this newsletter and the Web site soon!
In these tough economic times, it’s always good to know that you can count on your alma mater to assist you. Therefore, the Alumni Relations team has partnered with the Career Development team to offer workshops beginning in January 2009. These workshops will focus on job networking, retooling yourself to get back into the job market, resume writing and interviewing skills. If you need one-on-one assistance, you may contact the Career Development Office directly at (630) 829-6040. They can assist you in many ways with your job search. All of these services are yours free as an alumnus of Benedictine University!
Call us anytime. We are here for you!
