A special thank you to Joan Henehan of the Student Success Center for all of her hard work, long hours, and commitment to help make the MAP outreach successful. If you are a student who needed the support of the MAP grant we encourage you to show your thanks by stopping by the Student Success Center or emailing her at jhenehan@ben.edu and personally say thank you to her.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

Register For Fall Courses

All registration is done online through your MyBenU account. If you do not have access to a computer please stop by Ben Central Krasa 169. Located next to the bookstore.

ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS:
The wait list has now been discontinued for the Fall 2009 term.

All students now will need pin numbers to enroll in a class if it is showing as closed (even if there may be open seats, or if the student is currently on the waitlist and there are open seats). The instructor has full control over who enrolls in the class, if the class is closed. If the class is open and there is no wait list, then there is open registration through the week, until next Sunday evening, midnight, when add/drop has expired.
See Waitlisted note below.

NEW POLICY INFORMATION:

New Academic Policy Approved for Implementation in Fall 2009

Repetition of Courses

For courses taken at Benedictine University, undergraduate students, both degree seeking and students-at-large, may repeat a course in which they received grades of W, D, or F no more than two times. Students may not repeat any course in which they receive a grade of C or better. When a course is repeated for credit, the earlier earned grade remains on the student's permanent record and will appear on all transcripts. Only the last enrollment and earned grade will be used in computing the cumulative grade point average and awarding of credit. If a student wishes to repeat a course originally taken at Benedictine University and in which an earned grade was received, the repeat must be a course at Benedictine University. A repeat may not be by independent study or by study at another institution. The Academic Standing Committee may provide exceptions to this policy. An earned grade is a grade of A, B, C, D, and F.

Students who have graduated may not repeat a course for credit in which they earned a grade of A, B, C, or D previously. A student who has graduated may only audit a course in which they previously earned credit.

(Effective Fall 2009)
