College Priorities

The following are our immediate funding priorities to ensure our students receive the best science education possible. Our priorities vary from broad to specific, with each being necessary to prepare our students for the challenges of tomorrow.

  • Science Based Scholarships—The College of Science wants to both recognize and reward its best and brightest students. We would like to grow and expand the scholarships we have available for our students in the College. For a complete listing of Science-based scholarships please visit our Scholarships page.
  • Facilities—Science is never static. There is continuous renewal throughout our programs. Our competitive edge is dependent on our facilities, technology, and equipment. We work to get the maximum use out of our facilities and to keep our equipment updated. Your generosity helps us keep our leading edge in the sciences.  Click for more information on the Mickus Microscope Fund and the David J. Rausch Chemistry Endowment Fund.
  • Faculty Innovation—The University is constantly working to advance the imagination and forward movement of our faculty and students. We are looking to build a College that is interdisciplinary, and send a message of progress and discovery in the field. Gifts to faculty innovation will ensure the professional development of our faculty, and that we attract the most renowned talent in each field.
