Steve Montalto ('10) White House Intern
"The foundations I learned from Benedictine, including the scope and responsibilities of the federal government, prepared me well for this experience and the faculty's encouragement to set even the highest of goals allowed me to succeed."
Steve Montalto (Social Science major) served as a scheduling aide in Vice President Biden's office as part of his White House internship during parts of the 2010-11 school year. Steve was chosen over hundreds of other undergraduate applicants from around the country in a highly competitive selection process. During his time as an intern, Steve assisted in a variety of logistical roles, including the coordination and set-up of Vice Presidential events. In the fall of 2011, Steve began his law school training at Loyola University Chicago.
