Marmion Academy, Benedictine College Preparatory School, has recognized the quality of education students receive from Benedictine University for years.Eight of 55 staff members are graduates of BenU, including Headmaster James Quaid, Ph.D. C80.

Arndt

Sharon Arndt, C89 wore many hats, including wife, mom, aunt, teacher, and student. Most importantly, Sharon was a friend to many. After her passing in 2002, the Arndt Family established a scholarship award in her name for students like her, students who had overcome their own obstacles to return to school as adults and pursue their dreams of becoming educators. This year, family & friends would like to endow the Sharon A. Arndt Scholarship for Returning Adult Education majors. Support the Arndt Scholarship.

 Bernard Gawne, M.D. C96 supports both of his BenU programs by contributing annually to the MPH program and the MOB program.

David Norman, C08, cherished the experiences Professor Weller-Clarke shared with him in the classroom. He pays it forward by sharing his knowledge and experience with current students who aspire to teach.

As a student, Jason Ward, C03, came to Benedictine unsure on his career plans. After taking a trip for an elective education class where he taught underserved children, he found his calling.A member of the Alumni Association and annual donor to BenU and the College of Education and Health Services, he understands the importance of supporting his alma mater with time, talent, and treasure.

Shortly after graduation, Kristina Davis C10, became a Research Specialist for the American Hospital Association Health Research and Educational Trust. She continues to send job, fellowship, and internship opportunities for Benedictine students. She recently gave her first gift to the Benedictine Fund, joining a group of proud alumni who support their alma mater.
