Hooding and Honors

The Spring 2014 Hooding and Honors Ceremony will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2 in the Rice Center Arena. The Hooding Ceremony brings together students, faculty and staff who have played an important role in the graduates experience at Benedictine.

English as a Second Language program

Benedictine University is pleased to announce the launching of an English as a Second Language (ESL) program at the Lisle campus. The program will offer intensive English instruction 20 hours a week during the day, with additional excursions and activities to support full immersion.

Benedictine students and alumni are invited to attend the next Coffee House Networking Event Series on Wednesday, April 30 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. Stacy Jo Barber, art therapist and licensed clinical professional counselor at New Horizon Center for Children and Adults with Developmental Disabilities and Autism, and Brendan Shanley, art director at McGuffin Creative Group and photographer at Lost in Print LLC will each give presentations on the fifth floor of Kindlon Hall in the Michael E. Komechack, O.S.B. Art Gallery on their businesses and professions, share stories of their career paths and offer advice on the application process as well as effective networking and interviewing strategies.
